Legacy news brands battle it out for the top position as Aaj Tak inches closer to India TV

After the legacy Hindi news channels – India TV and Aaj Tak – reclaimed top two position last week, the erstwhile No. 1 news brand Aaj Tak is eying the top position.

In rolling week 24’22 (HSM market, NCCS: All, 15+ Yrs), India TV retained the No. 1 position with 12.7% of relative share,

Aaj Tak narrowed gap from No. 1 as its relative share rose to 12.2%.

Despite losing on relative share, News18 India rose to No. 3. The channel has recorded a relative share of 11.6%.

The relative share of TV9 Bharatvarsh continues to decline sharply. The channel now is at No. 4 with a relative share of 11.1%.

Republic Bharat continues to be at No. 5 with a relative share of 9.9%.

Zee News too is consistently gaining its relative share. The channel, at No. 6, has a relative share of 8.4%.

Times Now Navbharat sits at No. 7 with a relative share of 7.2%.

ABP News also got a higher relative share. The channel remained at No. 8 with a relative share of 5.9%

News Nation at No. 9 recorded a relative share of 5.5%.

Good News Today retained the No. 10 position with 5% of relative share.

Zee Hindustan and News24 were at No. 11 and No. 12 with 4% and 3.4% relative shares, respectively.
