Zee Media Q4FY22 advertising revenue up 40% YoY

The company reports 20% decline in subscription revenue

Zee Media Corporation has reported that its operating revenue increased by 35.4% to Rs 247.73 crore in Q4FY22 from Rs 182.93 crore in Q4FY21. 

The operating expenditure increased by 54.1% to Rs 189.13 crore in Q4FY22 from Rs 122.73 crore in Q4FY21. 

Zee Media’s EBITDA dipped marginally by 2.7% to Rs 58.6 crore in Q4FY22 from Rs 60.2 crore in Q4FY21.

For the full year 2021-2022, the company reported consolidated revenues of Rs 866.86 crore. The network incurred expenditure of Rs 613.2 crore in the same period.

The advertising revenue of the company jumped about 40% in the quarter ending March 31, 2022 while the subscription revenue dipped by 20%.
