Star Sports' Rakesh Jha joins Viacom18 as VP-Creative for Sports Business

Rakesh Jha, the former AVP, Broadcast Design Sports, Star India, announced that he is joining Viacom18 as Vice-President – Creative for Sports Business (Sports 18).

The Star Sports executive made the announcement through a post on LinkedIn. In the post he announced his new innings and also thanked everyone at Star Sports.

Jha had been associated with Star Sports for over nine years, prior to this he had also served at CNBC TV18, Viz Guru and Star News in various roles.

“I am excited to share the news that I am starting my new inning with Viacom18 as Vice President – Creative for Sports Business (Sports 18). I look forward to extending the design innovation that I have been able to do at Star Sports during my nine years of engagement. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to thank everyone at Star Sports for the guidance and support they have provided throughout my journey at Star Sports,” Jha’s post read.
