Entrepreneurial-themed reality show ‘Shark Tank India’ that was a cult success and created quite the buzz in the first season is all set for its comeback. Sony has announced that registrations for the second season have commenced.

The show's format focuses on impressing the judges with a business idea, leading to the judges investing in newer businesses. As per the channel’s claims, a total of Rs 42 crore was invested in the first season.
The judges aka sharks in the pilot season were business owners like Ashneer Grover, the former Managing Director and Co-founder of BharatPe; Aman Gupta, Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of boAt; Anupam Mittal, the Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com and People Group; Ghazal Alagh, the Co-founder and Chief Mama of MamaEarth; Namita Thapar the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals; Peyush Bansal, Co-founder and CEO of Lenskart, and Vineeta Singh, the CEO and Co-Founder of SUGAR Cosmetics.
