CNN-News18 claims top spot in 15+ age group

CNN-News18 has become the top news channel in terms of relative share in 15+ age group, as per the BARC data released for week 14-17'22.

In the all India (Urban+rural) AB15+ market, the channel commands a 26.3% share.

The viewership of CNN-News18 has been rising steadily ever since the BARC viewership data for news genre resumed in March.

As per the BARC data, Republic has lost its dominant position and is now at number three, behind Times Now and CNN-News18.

In 15+ age group, Times Now recorded a relative share of 25.6%. 

Republic TV, with 25.4% of relative share, slipped at no. 3.
