AAAI unveils new logo; Tempest Advertising wins the redesign contest

The contest to redesign the logo of the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) was won by Tempest Advertising’s art director, Lohidasu Rokalla from Hyderabad. The new logo was unveiled on day one of Goafest 2022.

In March, AAAI announced a contest to redesign its logo.

The agency’s design was chosen from among 200 entries. The winner was given a cash prize of Rs 1 Lakh, which they announced will be donated to an NGO which works for a social cause.

While receiving the prize, the team from Tempest Advertising said, “It is an honour for us to win this competition, however, we want to give back to society. We ask NGOs who work for a social cause to come forward and connect with us.”

The previous logo of AAAI was designed in 2005.

While unveiling the new logo, Rohit Ohri, Chairman and CEO of FCB India, said, “The logo effectively brought the past, the present and the future of both AAAI and advertising in unison.”

The official unveiling of the redesigned logo at the Goafest was done by Ohri and actor Yami Gautam.

Expressing their joy, Tempest Advertising put out a post on their social media handle, “We Won, And We Won Big.”
