Times Group’s Priyadarshi Banerjee joins One Digital Entertainment as Senior Vice-President

Banerjee was with Times Group for a span of close to 11 years, during which he served in many important roles

Assistant Vice-President and Head - Marketing, Digital & Business Operations (Worldwide Media Brands) of the Times Group, Priyadarshi Banerjee has called it quits. He will be joining One Digital Entertainment as Senior Vice-President.

Banerjee was with the Times group for a span of close to 11 years heading multiple roles. He started as National Manager - Subscription Marketing & CRM in the year 2011 and then was promoted to National Manager - AGM - Direct to Consumer, Digital & Retail products in 2014. From there he was elevated to General Manager - Product Strategy & Digital Brands Solutions in 2015. In 2018 he was again promoted to General Manager & Head - Digital Solutions & International Brands (World Wide Media). He took the role of Assistant VP and Head - Marketing, Digital & Business Operations (World Wide Media) in 2019.  

Prior to this he served as a Marketing Manager - ACK Media in Future Group in 2010. With a diversified experience of more than 20 years, Banerjee has worked with some prominent companies including - Airports Authority of India, Ardwolves Security Solutions, Institution of Public Health Engineers - India, HSBC Global Banking and Markets, Wipro Digital Operations and Platforms, Thomas Cook Group, Wunderman Thompson, Reader's Digest.

With the current association with One Digital Entertainment, Banerjee will be Driving the brand positioning, marketing strategy, critical partnerships and communications for all the group companies and their IPs and re-assert the group’s positioning as a leading media conglomerate in Asia.

Banerjee announced his decision to move on from Times Group through a post on LinkedIn. The post read, “15 years ago, when I started my advertising career, I walked into the iconic Times of India building at CST for my first-ever agency pitch. 4 year later, I stepped in as an employee. For 11 years, I was a part of it. 11 years on, it’s a part of me.”

“Here’s goodbye to all the remarkable people and the fantastic brands that make the BCCL/TOI legacy so unique and powerful,” he added.
