The former head of eCommerce at HUL, Karan Bhagi, has started a new venture called Digiacell. The new company aims at upskilling young professionals and students with digital skills.
Bhagi took to LinkedIn to announce his new venture, he said, "We are a developing country and better job outcomes don't just help the individual, they help the families get a better quality of life."
"So along with some like-minded individuals, I am following my heart and setting up a venture in the space of digital skilling. The aim is to help graduating students and white-collar professionals upskill on digital skills and get better career outcomes. These range from landing digital jobs to helping people ramp up at work to inspiring professionals with possibilities that they can bring to work," he added.
Bhagi had a 14-year long stint with HUL. He joined the company as an intern in 2007 and was later made the Marketing Manager for premium laundry. He was later elevated to the role of Marketing Director for premium laundry products. In 2018, Bhagi was elevated to the position of General Manager for e-commerce.
Bhagi has over a decade of experience in E-commerce, P&L management, brand building, distribution strategy and sales operations.
