Samsung Ads India has confirmed four new appointments across sales and operations to ramp up the business’ expansion in the burgeoning region. Vikram Chande, Mitul Sanghani, Tushar Tyagi and Nishit Kanchan have joined the company.
Chande joins as Head of Sales and Agency Development. He is a seasoned business leader with more than 16 years’ experience in full stack digital media, programmatic advertising, and performance marketing. His previous roles include head of Adobe Advertising Cloud, National head of Group M
Chande said, “I see my role as ultimately helping these stakeholders plan for a rapidly changing TV viewership landscape, and will seek to educate the market about the growing opportunities in CTV. We will build a robust sales outfit for Samsung Ads in India, leading both DSP and direct sales channels to grow our footprint here further.”
Sanghani also joins as Head of Operations. He previously worked with JioSaavn (Jio Platforms), Mobileum India, TCG Private Equity, and Deloitte in a finance management capacity. His experience across business transformation, post-merger integration, corporate planning, and operations puts him in good stead to spearhead the finance and operations functions for both Samsung Ads India and the TV Plus content business.
Tyagi and Kanchan have joined the Samsung Ads India business as Customer Service Manager and Sales Manager, respectively.
Kanchan joins from Times Internet, a digital product company, where he worked as regional head of Colombia Audience Network. While Tyagi comes from Twitter, and has digital marketing experience from various roles at Wecash, MobiKwik, and Samsung Electronics.
