Media Research Users Council India (MRUCI) has onboarded India Today Group Chief Marketing Officer Vivek Malhotra as Additional Director.
Known as a research and strategy professional, Malhotra has been serving as a Technical Committee member of MRUCI for its Indian Readership Survey and BARC India.
Additionally, Malhotra is also a leading member of the Technical Committee of NBDA.
As India Today Group CMO, Malhotra has been leading the marketing and strategic planning divisions across the print, television and digital properties for over 10 years.
Malhotra has previously worked with India extensions of international brands like CNBC where he had set up their Viewership Intelligence Unit – ‘The Edge’.
As the former marketing head of Bloomberg, he was also closely involved in the channel’s entry into the Indian TV space.
He has hands on experience across all verticals of News TV - namely Regional News (Marathi and Bangla for Star TV), English Business, Hindi Business, English General and Hindi General News. He has centrally led a marketing team of an over 20 radio station network at Big FM.
