MDH refutes media reports claiming acquisition of its business by HUL

Popular Indian spice brand MDH (Mahashian Di Hatti) has refuted media reports which claimed it is going to sell its business to Hindustan Unilever (HUL) or of HUL buying a majority stake in its business.

Taking to social media, MDH termed the media reports ‘fabricated’.

After a report by a leading English business daily stating that the spice brand is in talks with the FMCG giant, several other media outlets had also circulated news regarding the issue.

MDH took to its Instagram account today to refute the claims and said, “Such fake and frivolous news are strongly condemned and everyone is urged to not believe such rumours.”

“MDH Pvt Ltd is a legacy which Mahashay Chuni Lal Ji and Mahashay Dhramapal Ji nurtured all their lives and we are committed to take that legacy with all our heart,” the Indian spice brand added.
