TV Today Network Limited (TVTN), which runs news channels Aaj Tak, India Today TV and Good News Today, and FM radio station Ishq FM, has appointed Dinesh Bhatia as Group Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to the Group CEO role, Bhatia was Group Head - Strategy.
Informing the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said that the Board of Directors has approved the re-designation/appointment of Dinesh Bhatia, the Current Group Head - Strategy as Group Chief Executive Officer and Ket Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the Company subject to requisite approvals. “His appointment would be effective from the date of receipt of approval of the regulatory authority(ies), as may be required.”
Bhatia is already the Group CEO of India Today Group since November 2020. India Today Group through Living Media India Limited (LMIL) owns 58.45% stake in TVTN.
Aditya Birla Group had picked up 27.5% stake in LMIL in May 2012.
Bhatia (57) has been with TVTN for over 15 years. He joined TVTN as Chief Financial Officer and was later appointed as Group Head - Strategy of TVTN.
Prior to joining TVTN, Bhatia worked with HT Media for around 10 years.
