TV Today Network Limited, which runs news channels Aaj Tak, India Today TV and Good News Today, and FM radio station Ishq FM, has posted a net profit of Rs 61.62 crore in the third quarter of the financial year 2022, up 12.38% from Rs 54.83 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The company recorded 15% jump in its standalone revenue in the quarter ending December 2021. The Q3FY22 revenue stood at Rs 266.87 crore against Rs 232.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
For the nine months ending December 2021, the total revenue grew 21% YoY to Rs 719.45 crore. The company had earned Rs 595.91 crore in the nine months period ending December 2020.
The company had posted a total revenue of 819.92 crore in the fiscal year ended March 2021. The total revenue during the fiscal year 2020 was Rs 899.57 crore.
Given the current momentum propelled by assembly elections, the company is on track to surpass its pre-Covid revenue by about 10%.
