'Public App enables 30,000 local promoters to geo-target consumers in 2021'

Public App, India’s location-based social network, said it has enabled more than 30,000 local promoters of the country to reach their neighbourhood customers by promoting their offerings on the platform in 2021.

As per Public App, it enabled local promoters to reach out to customers at a fraction of the cost compared to other marketing mediums. 

Local promoters such as small businesses and politicians have utilised the opportunity to reach local users in Tier 2,3,4 cities, who use the app to stay updated about their surroundings through local verified updates.

These local promoters across sectors have also reported phenomenal responses through the promotions and have witnessed a spike in demand for their products and services, as per the company.

Public app provides businesses an opportunity to target their local consumers and promote their offerings digitally by geo-targeting their customers. This helped small businesses bounce back faster from the adverse impact of the pandemic and get back up on their feet.

Several business owners have come forward to thank the platform for the opportunities it provided to them.

Further, even local politicians on district, tehsil, and gram panchayat level are using Public app to promote festive season greetings, new laws, or updates on upcoming elections in the most engaging and innovative video formats. Public app is also helping these politicians to create a deeper impact with the users as the promotions in vernacular languages seem more conversational.
