Virginia Sharma, the Vice-President, Brand Solutions at JioSaavn, has decided to quit after almost two years of association with the company.
Sharma will be preparing for her EFPM Doctoral Defense, following her exit from JioSaavn.
She made the announcement through a post on LinkedIn.
“Wrapping up a incredible ~2 year journey at JioSaavn for Brands with a little victory dance! Today is my last day and I am leaving feeling grateful and satisfied with my contributions to the team and our clients. We delivered double-digit revenue growth throughout the pandemic and built a world-class, full-stack digital sales and customer success organisation. Thank you to the founders of JioSaavn Vinodh B. Rishi Malhotra Paramdeep Singh for giving me this incredible opportunity,” Sharma’s post read.
She was associated with the brand since May 2020, and was responsible for driving the adoption of JioSaavn’s innovative advertising solutions for brands, she also oversaw agency and client relationships.
Prior to JioSaavn, Sharma was the Sales Director, Marketing Solutions at LinkedIn for almost six years, where she led digital media savvy sales teams across India, along with the cross-functional partners. Her role included helping brands engage with professionals with relevant branded content.
Her longest stint was with IBM where she worked for 15 years and served in various roles, starting with Marketing Manager, Americas Software Group. She was the VP, Marketing, Systems and Technology Group, when she moved out of IBM.
