Myntra has promoted Achint Setia as Head, Marketing & Social Commerce Business. Before this, he was the VP & Business Head, Social Commerce at the fashion eCommerce company.
Setia took to LinkedIn to announce his elevation and wrote, “Starting another new chapter at Myntra helping people look good and feel good! Thanks to my teams, mentors and well-wishers.”
Earlier in November 2021, Harish Narayanan had put in his papers as Chief Marketing Officer at the online fashion giant.
In the past, he has headed marketing for Myntra including the brand, sale events, digital, and performance marketing. Setia joined Myntra in 2018 as Vice-President, Marketing.
He has conceptualised, launched the Myntra Insider loyalty program, and scaled it to contribute to a significant share of the platform in a couple of years. He has also conceptualised and launched the content business for Myntra including on-app content to commerce destination - Myntra Studio and original IPs such as Myntra Fashion Superstar. Lastly, he scaled up Myntra's marketing play nationwide with large partnerships, a refreshed brand strategy, and a unique digital and performance marketing approach.
Before Myntra, Setia was with Viacom18 for close to six years. His last role at Viacom18 was Senior VP, Digital Ventures and Head - VStEP (Viacom18 Startup Engagement Program). He joined Viacom18 in 2013 as Associate Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Business Development.
Previously, Setia has also worked with McKinsey and Company and Microsoft.
