Zee Biskope announces Chhath Puja programming line-up

Zee Biskope has announced its day-long programming on November 10, 2021, along with on-ground activities for Chhath Puja.

The day will begin with devotional songs. The channel will convene the Chhath celebrations with an hour-long break-free line-up of devotional Chhath songs from 6 am in the morning. While the devotional music continues till 9 am, the mood slightly revs up towards being festive with Chhath special celebration songs. 

The afternoon will witness the world TV premiere of Ravi Kishan and Arvind Akella Kallu’s movie Radhe. In the evening, the channel will showcase two Chhath special events, with one of them being “Jai Chhati Maai” scheduled between 6 – 9 pm. The event will consist of performances by celebrities from the Bhojpuri industry. 

As part of on-ground activation, Zee Biskope will engage with viewers at College Ghat on November 10 from 4 pm onwards to acknowledge the efforts of a Parvratin (those observing the fast) and pray for their well-being. To pray for Vratins, viewers will be facilitated to light a lantern in their names. A LED screen will also witness a series of Diyas (oil lamps) getting lit up on the screen with the name of the Vratins as their family members share prayers in their names.
