Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the first-ever conclave organised by TV9 Network in Bengal named, “What Bengal Thinks Today” on Saturday, January 30, at ITC Sonar.
TV9 Bangla, the newly launched Bengali channel of TV9 Network, has initiated this day-long think fest where top politicians, thought leaders and opinion makers will discuss issues related to upcoming assembly election of West Bengal, “Banga Juddho Gadir Lorai”.
TV9 has initiated this intellectual meet based on the famous quote of Congress leader Gopal Krishna Gokhale, "What Bengal thinks today, India thinks tomorrow”.
The prime focus of this conclave is the upcoming West Bengal elections. Eminent leaders from all major political parties of West Bengal will attend this intellectual session. The event will emphasise on many issues specifically related to the elections such as “Violence in Bengal elections”, “Muslim Vote Factor”, “The Hindutva agenda”, “Nandigram”, “Corruption and outsider issue”.
Many dignitaries of West Bengal will present as guests throughout the day-long session. Shah will be present at the penultimate session of the day in the evening.
TV9 Bangla and TV9 Bharatvarsh Channels will telecast the conclave live.
