Former BARC India CEO Partho Dasgupta arrested in TRP scam

Mumbai police today arrested BARC India’s former CEO Partho Dasgupta from Rajgad Police Station jurisdiction in Pune Rural. He is being brought to Crime Branch.

He will be produced before the ACMM 37th Court on December 25, 2020.

This is the 15th arrest in TRP scam after Romil Ramgarhia who was released today from jail.

Before Ramgarhia, Mumbai police had arrested Republic Media Network CEO Vikas Khanchandani.

Police has claimed to have found WhatsApp chats between Ramgarhia and Khanchandani indicating manipulation in viewership data.
