This Sawan, Zee Biskope brings two film fests to entertain its viewers

This July, Bhojpuri movie channel Zee Biskope is treating its viewers with a host of monsoon memories. The Sawan celebrations have begun with two film festivals: Sawandaar Somwar Cinema and Aaaya Sawan Choom Ke.

Traditionally, each of the Mondays in Sawan are celebrated as Sawan Ka Mahasomvaar and devoted to the worship of Lord Shiva. Zee Biskope’s film festival Sawandaar Somwar Cinema, a five-week celebration, will feature five blockbuster movies being telecasted in each of the Sawan Mondays at 6:30 pm from July 6 to August 3 along with one World Television Premiere. The celebration began with ‘Sher Singh’ on July 6, which features Pawan Singh and Amrapali Dubey, followed by ‘Nirahua Chalal London’ on July 13 starring Nirahua and Amrapali Dubey and ‘Ghoonghat Me Ghotala’ starring Parvesh Lal and Mani Bhattacharya on July 20.

The biggest offering of the month and world television premiere: ‘Mehraru Chahi Milky White’ featuring Priyesh Sinha and Rani Chatterjee scheduled on July 27 at 6:30 pm. The festival will call it a season with ‘Nirahua Hindustani 3’ starring Nirahua, Amrapali Dubey and Shubhi to be telecast on August 3.

Rejoicing the season of love and romance, Zee Biskope will present its second unique offering Aaya Sawan Choom Ke – a weeklong saga of romantic Bhojpuri movies scheduled between July 6 to 10 (Monday to Friday) at 9:30 am. This festival will not only capture the essence of blooming romance in rains but also mark International Kiss Day celebrated on July 6. Celebrating Bhojiwood’s passion for love, the romantic film festival will house blockbuster movies like ‘Mohabbat’ starring Chintu Pandey and Kajal Yadav followed by ‘Jigar’ with Nirahua and Anjana Singh as leads, ‘Khiladi’ featuring Khesari Lal Yadav and Madhu Sharma, ‘Challenge’ starring Pawan Singh and Madhu Sharma and lastly ‘Dabang Ashiq’ featuring Khesari Lal Yadav, Kajal Raghwani and Anjana Singh.
