Dainik Savera Times has now sent a legal notice to Media Research Users Council (MRUC) also for recovery of Rs 10 crore as damages over an allegedly defamatory story in exchange4media. It had already sent a legal notice to the e4m.
The Hindi daily published from Jalandhar has issued the notice to MRUC because the aforesaid story carried MRUC Techcom Chairman Vikram Sakhuja’s comment making the story look authentic.
The notice said, “The facts mentioned in the articles are your creation in connivance with each other with malafide intention and are based on wrong facts. You have intentionally and wilfully and in order to cause loss to my client have published/got published the article knowingly fully well and having reasons to believe that the same is false.”
