Salman Khan launches personal care and grooming brand 'FRSH'

Superstar Salman Khan has announced the launch of his new brand ‘FRSH’. Looking at the need of the hour, the first product launched under the brand is hand sanitiser. FRSH is co-created with tennis professional Mahesh Bhupati’s Scentials Beauty Care and Wellness.

Announcing the launch on social media, he wrote, “Launching my new grooming and personal care brand FRSH !! @frshgrooming. ... Filhal Sanitizers la raha hai. Aap ke liye hai, taaki aap safe aur saaf raho, yeh milega apko pehle FRSH ki website aur phir har jagah. Link bio me hai, Try karo @frshgrooming ko follow karo #RahoFrshRahoSafe.”

In the social media video, he said that while the initial plan was to come up with a deodorant brand, it was later decided to switch to sanitisers considering the ‘need of the hour’. 

With 72% alcohol content, the sanitiser packs are available in different sizes. The company is offering launch discounts on its website. A100 ml bottle of FRSH is available at Rs 40 in the launch phase.

Talking about launching more products under the brand, Khan said, "We will soon be rolling out deodorants, body wipes and perfumes at affordable prices," said Salman Khan in a video posted on Twitter.

Khan has previously launched several products in the clothing, fitness equipment, e-cycle, jewellery space under his retail brand 'Being Human’.

Scentials was co-founded by Jinesh Mehta and Bhupathi in 2017. It partners with popular celebrities and sportspersons to launch products in the beauty and fragrances space. The company has a joint venture with Virat Kohli’s deodorant brand One8 and Lara Dutta’s skincare brand Arias. In 2019, Scentials raised Rs 25 crore of funding in a Series A round from Unilever Ventures, the startup investment arm of consumer goods giant Unilever Plc.
