Call for entries open for BuzzInContent Awards 2020
The communication sent to the delegates said, “We were looking forward to welcoming you at the India Today Conclave. Until yesterday, we had decided to move ahead with the Conclave, despite the challenging environment. Our intention was to ensure precaution and protocol without triggering panic.
“However, the situation has changed in the last 12 hours. The WHO has declared the coronavirus a pandemic. The Indian government has also moved quickly to ensure containment. International speakers are unable to travel to India. There are advisories against domestic travel as well, unless unavoidable.
“In the light of this changing situation, we have taken a decision to postpone the India Today Conclave. Without resorting to panic, collective action and social distancing seems to be the call of the hour.
“Needless to say we feel a great deal of disappointment. We hope this challenge will abate with responsible action and we will be able to welcome you at the conclave again very soon.”
