Does the M&E sector need another award in an already cluttered awards market? To this, Niraj Sharma, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of BestMediaInfo and BuzzInContent.com, explained that he does not see BuzzInContent Awards as a part of any existing market. “The awards have actually become a market with about one award every week in the industry. We stayed away from this market for a decade. We now see an opportunity to create a credible property in an ecosystem that is rapidly gaining brands’ trust. Two years on, BuzzInContent.com has become the voice of the content marketing ecosystem and awards are the natural extension in order to own this space. The kind of work that has gone behind bringing this property will tell you how this is an award to look forward to.”
