Online fitness company Squats rebrands itself as Fittr

Online fitness company Squats has recently rebranded itself as Fittr. Through its new corporate identity, the brand aims to democratise fitness across India by making the right fitness tools available to the masses — thus helping them stay fit and inspire others to follow the much-needed practice. With this initiative, Fittr reaffirms its commitment to transforming the world into a fitter and better place.

Jitendra Chouksey, Founder and CEO, Fittr, said, “We are delighted to share our new brand identity with both our existing and prospective customers. Fittr is more reflective of the market that we aspire to serve and certainly brings a new and fresh feel to our overall suite of existing offerings. While Fittr is perfectly attuned with our vision, we believe that this name has more impact on peoples’ minds and will give fitness aficionados a psychological push towards staying fit whenever they will see the app icon on their smartphones.”

Fittr started as a WhatsApp group by Chouksey. The aim was to help his family and friends to achieve their fitness goals through mentorship, mainly in the form of tips and short video bytes. Soon from WhatsApp, the group extended its reach to Facebook. 2016 was the year when this group completely transformed into an online health and fitness coaching portal. The bootstrapped fitness startup has now been rebranded as Fittr to take its fitness vision forward while serving its customers, both domestic and international.

Fittr is home to a community of more than 8,00,000 members and has registered 500,000+ downloads.
