Celebrating the confluence of connectivity and mobility, News18.com, the digital destination of CNN News18, has announced the third edition of its annual marquee Tech & Auto Awards 2019.
Riding on the success of the first two editions, the award ceremony will celebrate and honour the technology and automotive products and innovations that have set the bar high in the respective sectors.
Slated to take place in New Delhi on December 10, the evening will salute the best of technology and automotive innovations in 2019 as it felicitates the innovators, the path-breakers and high-achievers in their respective industries.
Based on the theme of ‘Sustainable Mobility’ and ‘Cyber Security’ the award evening will have Lt. Gen. Deependra Singh Hooda, (Retd. General Officer Commander-in-Chief, Northern Command, Indian Army), giving the keynote address on ‘India’s Next Battlefield Would Be Cyberspace: Are We Ready?’
The award property will have a total of 20 categories across the technology and automotive sectors with a special focus on the award category for ‘Electric Vehicle of the Year’. The winners under each will be selected by members of a distinguished jury and audience votes.
The jury for the tech awards consists of Ershad Kaleebullah, Editor-In-Chief, TheMrPhone; Deepak Dhingra, Editor-In-Chief, 91Mobiles; Ashish Bhatia, Editorial Consultant; Nimish Dubey, freelance tech journalist; Nishant Padhiar and Editor, Stuff and What Hi-Fi. The auto awards jury comprises Ronojoy Mukerji, Ex-SIAM Dy Director and auto journalist; Jatin Ahuja, Founder and MD, Big Boy Toyz; Tutu Dhawan, industry veteran; Maral Yazarloo-Pattrick, record holder biker and businesswoman and Kunal Kelkar, automotive photographer, Founder, The Autofocus.
