Wunderman Thompson, TBWA and Cheil make India proud at The One Show 2019

India shone again with three agencies from the country winning Pencils on the first night of The One Show 2019, the prestigious global awards programme from The One Club for Creativity celebrating excellence in creativity of ideas and quality of execution. These include Wunderman Thompson, TBWA and Cheil.

Wunderman Thompson Mumbai worked with Wunderman Thompson Amsterdam, and won a Gold Pencil for the work Blink Test on behalf of Jimmy Nelson Foundation in Design Craft - Photography. The agency has also won two Silver Pencils in Moving Image Craft for the same, one in Use of Music - Original Music and the other in Innovation.

TBWA\India has received a Gold Pencil for its work Blink To Speak on behalf of NeuroGen Brain & Spine Institute/Asha Ek Hope Foundation in Health, Wellness & Pharma, Products. This work also won a Silver Pencil in Health, Wellness & Pharma, Innovation.

The other Pencil winner of the night from India was Cheil Worldwide India Gurugram, which won a Silver for Sense International India’s work, The Good Vibes Project, in Design, Innovation.

The One Show Pencil is one of the highest accolades in the industry because it is one of the most difficult to win.  For the first night of The One Show 2019 on May 8, 2019, there were 85 Gold, 92 Silver and 99 Bronze Pencils awarded for work from 23 countries.  A total of 19,445 pieces were entered this year from 73 countries.
