Myntra, the fashion e-commerce company, has announced the appointment of Harish Narayanan, who headed APAC Marketing for YouTube, as Head of Marketing for Myntra Jabong. Narayanan will take over from Mithun Sundar, the current Head of Revenue and Marketing, who will continue to lead Revenue and will also be responsible for Fashion Strategy.
Narayanan comes with over 12 years of experience in marketing with a deep knowledge of consumer branding and digital marketing strategy. In his previous role, he delivered record-breaking growth for the video-sharing behemoth in the region, through industry-shaping narratives and scaled marketing for YouTube ads, with campaigns, case studies and thought leadership. In his new role at Myntra Jabong, he will lead the overall marketing function, with a strong focus on driving growth and consumer engagement. Narayanan will report to Amar Nagaram, Head, Myntra Jabong.
Over the past year, Sundar has played a pivotal role in Myntra’s growth, devising and implementing innovative strategies for growth, as well as improving brand salience. He will now focus on Fashion Strategy and continue to lead Revenue for Myntra Jabong. In his new role, he will be working closely with Nagaram and multiple group stakeholders to chart out the strategy for the next phase of growth for Myntra and Fashion as a business. He will also lead Analytics, Business Intelligence and Strategic Planning and Execution.

Narayanan is a recipient of multiple prestigious accolades, including Cannes Lions, Effie, AME, P&G and Google Marketing Award for several consecutive years. He was associated with Procter & Gamble (P&G) and served the multinational consumer goods corporation in various capacities, related to marketing and branding, before his stint with Google. Narayanan is an MBA from IIM-Lucknow and a BE in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
