Crocs Inc., the international casual footwear brand, has announced the appointment of Sumit Dhingra as the new General Manager for India, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
With over 15 years of experience across apparel and fashion retail, Dhingra brings with him a deep understanding of the fashion and lifestyle industry.
In his new role, Dhingra will be responsible for fuelling the next leg of Crocs growth in the region. Currently Crocs operates in the region with 1,500+ points of sales across 150 cities via exclusive brand stores and multi-brand outlets while servicing over 20,000 pin codes via e-commerce channels, including a dedicated brand website ‘www.shopcrocs.in’.

In his last assignment with Arvind Fashions Ltd. as CEO for Arrow, Aéropostale& Izod; Dhingra repositioned Arrow and launched Aéropostale successfully.

An IIM-Lucknow alumni, Dhingra has been with Arvind Fashions Ltd. for over a decade, helming leadership roles across marquee brands like Arrow, Gant, Nautica, Izod, CalvinKlein and Aéropostale.
After completing his PG from IIM Lucknow, Dhingra started his career with companies, including Madura Garments and Benetton India Pvt. Ltd., where he was spearheading regional operations.
