Sonia Kapoor quits Network18

Sonia Kapoor has decided to move on from Network18 after a 17-year stint. She has put in her papers as Business Head and Executive Vice-President, Branded Content and Special Projects, across all assets of the Network18 Group.

Kapoor refused to comment but sources close to the development informed BestMediaInfo.com that she is serving notice period until the second week of June. After this, Kapoor is slated to float her entrepreneurial venture in brand and content solution space, sources said.

Kapoor has been with Network18 since 2002 and headed revenue functions of CNBCTV18 before being elevated to the current role.

Kapoor started her career with Indian Express in 1998 as Business Development Executive. She later joined TV Today Network in 2000.
