Mobiistar, the Vietnam’s smartphone brand, has appointed OMG Digital, a newly created unit within Omnicom Media Group India, to handle its digital and ATL media duties. The account will be serviced by a dedicated team of media, strategy and data specialists from the network’s Gurgaon office.
The brand’s goal is to further develop the smartphone segment in India by better understanding consumers’ needs from their smartphones and desires to gain more enjoyment from them, in order to create a better user experience overall. As such, the company is investing efforts on mobile technology adoption and expanding selfie experiences for Indian consumers.

Having launched in India with its Star Selfie Series in May 2018, Mobiistar has expanded its media presence in the country, moving offline last August with the launch of its range of five selfie-centric smartphones. The smartphone manufacturer has partnered with over 500 distributors across the country, and set up 1,000 service centres to provide best-in-class after-sales service to its customers.
