Epic channel to end 2018 with two special shows

To end the year 2018 with a special programming, Epic channel has brought another special show after airing ‘Sentinels of the Snow: The Battle of Rezang La’, a war documentary by Major General GD Bakshi, on December 16.

The channel will telecast a glimpse into the lives of the people living around the ghats of Varanasi with ‘Ghat Ghat Ka Pani’ on December 29 at 3pm, 5pm, 7pm and 9pm.

With a line-up of shows for next year, Akul Tripathi, Content and Programming head, EPIC Channel, said they are committed to showcase India and India-centric content with emphasis on production quality and research.

He said, “We are enthusiastic to create fascinating shows that are rich in culture, and that speak to our audiences about India’s diversity.”

The new show, ‘Ghat Ghat Ka Pani’, explores life and its countless shades along the holy Ganges where dreams are fulfilled and broken, but life, like the river, carries on.

The sixth in the series of documentaries on India’s most famous battles, ‘Sentinels of the Snow’ was an inspiring saga of heroism and valour and recreated the Battle at Rezang La in the Chushul district of Ladakh during the 1962 Sino-Indian War.
