The Womb brought a Platinum and three Gold awards home at 2018 Tangrams Effectiveness@Spikes awards announced Wednesday evening in Suntec, Singapore, bringing day 1 of Spikes Asia to a close. The agency won all medals in Effectiveness category for Saregama Carvaan.
Commenting on The Womb winning Platinum, The Effectiveness jury president David Porter, VP, Global Media, Unilever, said, “The Womb took a marketing brief and turned it into an incredibly successful product: Saregama Carvaan. It offers proof if you needed it that the largest agency groups do not have a monopoly on wisdom.”
Mindshare Mumbai won a Gold medal for Star Plus’ Nayi Soch in Media Strategy.
The Digital Strategy category saw Indian agencies winning four Bronze awards, two each by Watconsult and Foxymoron.

From over 500 entries 92 awards were presented including 3 Platinum awards, 33 Gold, 28 Silver and 28 Bronze Awards. Evaluated by a jury of top client and agency professionals the entries were submitted from 16 countries with Indian companies leading the way, followed closely by China.
CHE Proximity Melbourne, Australia were recognised as Digital Strategy Agency of the Year and Effectiveness Agency of the Year with PHD Auckland, New Zealand awarded the Media Strategy Agency of the Year. Tangrams Network Agency of the Year was awarded to the Mindshare Network.
