Building on its expansion in India, M&C Saatchi Mobile has announced the repositioning of its name as M&C Saatchi Performance reflecting the shift in consumer behaviour driven by hyperconnectivity, which is revolutionising the way people work, shop, travel and engage with friends and family.
The shift in name and positioning comes at a crucial time as India begins to consider the impact and interoperability of connected devices that will provide the necessary infrastructure to create a smarter and more connected digital economy.
Stated Chris Steedman, Asia Pacific MD of M&C Saatchi Performance, said, “We see India poised for growth with a keen appetite for adopting connected devices that will benefit from smartphone adoption, IoT and 5G broadband connectivity in the future. The shift in our agency name and positioning is perfectly timed when not just the industry but the consumers are evolving beyond just one screen and view brands as one entity across all platforms."
M&C Saatchi Performance will deliver marketing services to help brands grow in the hyperconnected age. Leveraging their scientific analysis of data along with behavioural insights and expert understanding of performance marketing, enables them to precisely target audiences and deliver the right messages at the right time and on the right device.
James Hilton, Global CEO of M&C Saatchi Performance, said, “M&C Saatchi Performance is a logical move for the business and more accurately reflects what we’ve been doing for the last 12 years. Hyperconnectivity has impacted how brands connect with audiences in the digital landscape, moving from device-specific to device-agnostic, which has driven the need for us to adapt and evolve. We are excited to build on our mobile legacy and provide best-in-class performance marketing services to deliver business growth for our clients.”
Moray MacLennan, M&C Saatchi Worldwide CEO, commented, “M&C Saatchi Mobile have played a significant part in the M&C Saatchi Group. Their understanding and analysis of consumer data has put them at the forefront of the industry, revolutionising the way audiences are targeted through digital advertising. M&C Saatchi Performance is perfectly positioned to drive measurable growth for brands and we are thrilled for James and the team to start the next phase of the journey.”
M&C Saatchi Mobile launched in 2006, prior to the smart phone revolution, where it was at the forefront of the rise in mobile. It launched its India operations in 2016 with two offices in Delhi and Bangalore. It has since added a third office in Mumbai, won more than 12 new clients and grown over 185% year-on-year.
