Integrated media conglomerate Balaji Telefilms Limited has made two key senior hires. It has roped in Aashish Singh as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Balaji Motion Pictures and Ashish Pinto as head of Human Resources for boosting its organisation strength to drive enhanced success with its film business.
Singh has been an executive movie producer with over 15 years of experience. He has been associated with some popular Bollywood films like Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan, Dhoom 2 and 3 and Chak de India among others. In his last stint, he was Vice-President, Production, at Yash Raj Films and was responsible for all the aspects pertaining to production. He was instrumental in building partnerships with international locations for film shoots and managed co-productions, acquisitions, production services and line production of international projects in India. In his new role as CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, he will report to Group Chief Operating Officer, Nachiket Pantvaidya.
Pinto comes with an experience of over 23 years as a practising HR professional in industries such as media and entertainment, consulting and technology and has been associated with companies like Bennett & Coleman, Network 18, Sakal, Hewitt and Capgemini among others. His key skills are talent development, talent acquisition, HR processes and organisational transformation. In his current role as head of Human Resources for Balaji Telefilms, he will report to Sanjay Dwivedi, Group Chief Financial Officer.
