Saurabh Kapoor of Koovs launches digital agency 'Hashtag Orange'

Saurabh Kapoor, former Digital Marketing Head, Koovs.com, has announced the launch of Hashtag Orange, an ‘insights’-driven digital agency. The new agency is headquartered in Gurugram and consists of a team of account planners, storytellers, media planners, business analysts and brand strategists who would collectively work towards providing data-driven insights and solutions for new-age business challenges in the digital space.

Hashtag Orange is backed by the rich and diverse experience of its Founder and CEO Kapoor, who brings in a holistic perspective and approach to the new-age digital challenges. Having worked for agencies as well as brands, Kapoor has deep understanding of the ecosystem and would be instrumental in steering the agency ahead.

Hashtag Orange, the name, is inspired from the quality of colour ‘orange’, the blend of red and yellow, which brings a mixture of the energy and passion associated with red and the happiness and positivity associated with yellow – and connects with the quality of each of the team members.

Kapoor said, “Digital marketing space in India has evolved drastically and the brands operating in India need tailored and strategic solutions to their marketing challenges. While there is a plethora of digital solutions providers in the market, most of them struggle to deliver the desired outcomes for their clients due to the lack of market insights and understanding of consumer behaviour. Prior to Koovs, Kapoor was Business Director for Quasar, GroupM wherein he led digital strategies for brands like Dominos, Telenor, Adidas, Panasonic and Magicbricks to name a few. His earlier successful stints include co-founding Bottle Openers Digital Solution – a digital marketing solutions agency where he was responsible for building media capabilities for the firm. His earlier roles include marketing and sales lead for India Today, Open Media Networks and Times Internet.

In a short span of few months, Hashtag Orange has successfully managed to venture into various categories, including fashion, beauty, online gaming and food to name a few.
