As Rediffusion decides to go independent with Founders Arun Nanda and and Ajit Balakrishan buying back 40% shares held by Y&R and Dentsu, the agency has put in new management structure in place.
Dhunji Wadia, President, Rediffusion Group, is retiring from the agency after holding this position since December 2014. With Wadia retiring, Chief Creative Officer Rahul Jauhari and Chief Strategy Officer Navonil Chatterjee have taken over as Joint Presidents of the group.
Wadia joined Rediffusion Y&R Group in 2010. He has over 25 years of experience in the business, having been associated with major national and international brands such as Parle, Tata, Unilever, Nike, Levi Strauss, Diamond Trading Co, Kellogg, Aditya Birla Group, Sony Entertainment Television – Max and SAB, and Kotak, to name a few.
Jauhari was appointed Chief Creative Officer, Rediffusion Y&R Group, India in May 2015. Prior to this, he was National Creative Director, Everest Brand Solutions.
Chatterjee joined Rediffusion Y&R as Chief Strategy Officer in July 2015 from JWT, where he worked for 15 years.
