Banijay Asia appoints Rishi Negi as Chief Operating Officer

Banijay Asia has announced the appointment of Rishi Negi as its Chief Operating Officer.

Negi has over two decades of experience in hospitality, entertainment and retail. Before his associations with Banijay Asia, he was associated with brands such as the Taj Group of hotels, Emerald Asia Media Fame India limited among others. Negi will be responsible for commercials, strategies and finance along with production operations.

Deepak Dhar leads the India operations of Banijay Asia, a company that entered into the region with a commitment of producing scripted and non-scripted content across genres, including digital and films for India and South East.

Negi said, “Partnering with the world’s largest content creation group is definitely going to be exciting. Dhar’s vision is to build Banijay Asia as the undisputed leader in the content space for the region, and I am looking forward to work with him closely in this journey. With so much happening in the entertainment industry, we aspire to produce some exceptional and challenging content across genres.”

Banijay Group recently entered the Asian market in partnership with media veteran Dhar. The newly formed entity, Banijay Asia, will produce content, fiction, non-fiction, digital programming and films across platforms.
