IPL 11 grew by 5.9% in week two over IPL 10

In its second week, in which nine matches were played, Indian Premier League (IPL) season 11 on Star India Network witnessed a growth of 11.9 million Impressions, a 5.9% jump from IPL season 10 (All India 2+). The nine matches played in week two of IPL 11 garnered a total of 211.5 million Impressions, while the nine matches (match 9 to match 17) of IPL 10 clocked a total of 199.6 million Impressions.

The most-watched match of week two in IPL 11 was the one played between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings on April 15, 2018 (Sunday at 8pm) that clocked 31.8 million Impressions. The one played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 8pm, stood second with 29.5 million Impressions.

The third most-watched match was Kings XI Punjab versus Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 19, 2018 at 8pm.

In IPL 10, the most-watched match was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians on April 12, 2017 (Wednesday) at 8pm.

IPL 11 is being telecast on 10 channels of Star India, including Star Sports 1 (SD+HD), Star Sports 1 Hindi (SD+HD), Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Sports Select 1 (SD+ HD), Star Suvarna Plus, Star Maa Movies and Star Jalsha, along with a delayed feed on DD Sports.
