In Week 15 of 2018 (April 7-13), all the Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) lost significant viewership numbers on the back of Indian Premier League 2018.
At the same time, Zee Anmol regained its leadership position in the U+R markets and continued leading rural. Star Bharat continued to be the strong No. 1 in the urban market for the second consecutive week, while Colors slipped to No. 3 as Star Plus climbed to No. 2.
The maha-episode of the combination of Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya on Zee TV garnered huge numbers and ranked as the most watched show in the urban markets, while it stood at No. 2 in the U+R markets. Zee TV’s latest fiction show Ishq Subhan Allah also found its way in the top shows’ list.

As per select BARC India data for Week 15 of 2018 (April 7-13) for HSM (U+R): NCCS All: 2+ Individuals, Zee Anmol came back to the top spot in the U+R markets with 676.300 million (last week 710.197 million) Impressions, while Star Bharat slipped to No. 2 with 669.207 million (last week 731.561 million) Impressions. At No. 3, Sony Pal clocked 649.574 million (last week 675.060 million) Impressions. Star Utsav continued at No. 4 position garnering 568.047 million (last week 603.378 million) Impressions. Zee TV stayed put at No. 5 clocking 516.099 million (last week 534.938 million) Impressions. Star Plus kept to its No. 6 position with 465.655 million (last week 501.433 million) Impressions. Coming closer to Star Plus, Rishtey moved ahead of its elder sibling to reach No. 7 with a gross viewership of 461.718 million (last week 430.206 million) Impressions. Colors came in next at No. 8 with 451.207 million (last week 491.626 million) Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television lost significant numbers yet stayed at No. 9 by clocking 341.584 million (last week 379.412 million) Impressions. Separated by a marginal difference, Sony SAB remained at No. 10 with 341.285 million (last week 376.891 million) Impressions.

The maha-episode of the combination of Kundali Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya on Zee TV grabbed the second spot with 9.694 million Impressions. Zee TV’s latest show Ishq Subhan Allah has entered the top five shows’ list at No. 3, garnering 8.230 million Impressions. Star Bharat’s Kya Haal Mr Paanchal grabbed the fourth spot, gathering 8.187 million Impressions (last week 9.370 million). Sony Pal’s Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah got the fourth spot by clocking 8.180 million (last week 8.563 million) Impressions.

Continuing on the top spot in the urban markets, Star Bharat garnered 334.721 million (last week 356.727 million) Impressions, being ahead of Star Plus by about six million Impressions. Star Plus climbed to the second spot in the urban markets with 328.826 million (last week 352.580 million) Impressions. Colors slipping to No. 3 in the Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) ranking in the urban markets, garnered 325.641 million (last week 353.153 million) Impressions. Zee TV stayed at No. 4 in the list of most-watched channels on Hindi GEC in urban markets, clocking 315.698 million (last week 326.288 million) Impressions. Sony SAB that garnered 259.337 million (last week 286.256 million) Impressions stood at No. 5, while Sony Entertainment Television stayed at No. 6 spot with 251.483 million (last week 279.487 million) Impressions. Sony Pal was at No. 7 with 224.381 million (last week 215.438 million) Impressions. Star Utsav continued at No. 8 garnering 173.241 million (last week 177.001 million) Impressions. Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah clocked 5.113 million Impressions at No. 3, followed by Star Plus’ Yeh Hain Mohabbatein that garnered 4.934 million (last week 5.600 million) Impressions, respectively.
