Zee Anmol continued to lead the rural flock. Star Plus too has gained significant numbers in the urban market to improve its ranking in the urban and U+R markets.
Star Bharat’s family comedy Kya Haal Mr Paanchal was amongst the top five shows in the combined markets. Star Plus added Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in the top five shows list in the urban markets.

As per select BARC India data for Week 14 of 2018 (March 31-April 6) for HSM (U+R): NCCS All: 2+ Individuals, Star Bharat, stayed at the top position with 731.561 million (last week 748.554 million) Impressions. Zee Anmol too remained at No. 2 with 710.197 million (last week 737.113 million) Impressions, followed by Sony Pal which also remained at the third spot in the combined U+R markets, with 675.060 million (last week 707.481 million) Impressions. Star Utsav continued at No. 4 position garnering 603.378 million (last week 632.677 million) Impressions. Zee TV, came back to No. 5 clocking 534.938 million (last week 511.841 million) Impressions. Star Plus sprang up by two spots to reach No. 6 with 501.433 million (last week 482.948 million) Impressions. Staying close to Star Plus, Colors came in next at No. 7 with 491.626 million (last week 530.771 million) Impressions. Rishtey came back to No. 8 with a gross viewership of 430206 million (last week 463.064 million) Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television lost significant numbers to slip to No. 9 by clocking 379.412 million (last week 498.249 million) Impressions. Sony SAB remained at No. 10 with 376.891 million (last week 395.521 million) Impressions.

As per select data {HSM (U+R): NCCS All: Prime Time (1800 - 2330 hours): 2+ Individuals}, Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya stood at the top by clocking 11.460 million (last week 12.792 million) Impressions. Zee TV’s spin-off show Kundali Bhagya grabbed the second spot with 10.718 million (last week 11.078 million). Star Bharat’s Kya Haal Mr Paanchal came back to the top five list at No. 3, gathering 9.370 million Impressions (last week 9.806 million). Sony Pal’s Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah and CID grabbed the fourth and fifth spot by clocking 8.563 million and 8.398 million (last week 9.049 million) Impressions, respectively.

For the first time, Star Bharat has claimed the top spot in the urban markets with 356.727 million (last week 362.491 million) Impressions, being marginally ahead in numbers from Colors. Colors, slipping to No. 2 in the Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) ranking in the urban markets, garnered 353.153 million (last week 389.161 million) Impressions. Star Plus climbed to the third spot in the urban markets with 352.580 million (last week 339.637 million) Impressions. Zee TV, too climbed to No. 4 in the list of most-watched channels on Hindi GEC in urban markets, clocking 326.288 million (last week 316.212 million) Impressions. Sony SAB that garnered 286.256 million (last week 296.829 million) Impressions, stood at No. 5, while Sony Entertainment Television, lost huge numbers and slipped to No. 6 spot with 279.487 million (last week 361.152 million) Impressions.
