Viacom18 has decided to extend its flagship reality property Bigg Boss to the Marathi market by launching Bigg Boss Marathi on Colors Marathi. To be hosted by actor-director-producer Mahesh Manjrekar, the first season of the show will go on air on April 15.
A renowned reality concept worldwide, the show is present in 92 countries, including India, where it has been adapted in Hindi, Bangla, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu, before coming to the Marathi market. The Hindi version of the show is hosted by actor Salman Khan that just wrapped up its 11th season this January.

We believe that the Marathi viewers have worked up a great appetite for this kind of cutting-edge content and this is just the right time to give them an experience that is at par with the national channels.”
