In Week 6 of 2018 (February 3-9), Zee Anmol continued to lead the combined U+R and rural markets, according to data released by BARC India. Colors stayed put as the leader in the urban markets.
Among the top shows, the rankings remained largely the same. The highlight was the rise of Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya numbers across all markets. Another thing to note was the presence of three Zee Anmol shows and two of Sony Pal shows in the top lists in rural markets.
Top channels in U+R markets
As per select BARC India data for Week 6 of 2018 (February 3-9) for HSM (U+R): NCCS All: 2+ Individuals, Zee Anmol remained at the top spot with 767.706 million (last week 761.293 million) Impressions. Star Bharat stuck to No. 2 in the combined U+R markets with 729.536 million (last week 675.896 million) Impressions. In turn, Sony Pal remained at the third spot with 639.246 million (last week 614.401 million) Impressions. Colors stayed put at No. 4 position with 584.651 million (last week 590.900 million) Impressions. Zee TV, climbed up by a spot to reach No. 5 by clocking 571.228 million (last week 563.925 million) Impressions. Star Utsav slipped further to No. 6 garnering 558.245 million (last week 569.949 million) Impressions. Star Plus climbed to No. 7 with 449.901 million (last week 442.345 million) Impressions. Rishtey slipped to No. 8 with a gross viewership of 448.678 million (last week 450.424 million) Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television remained at the ninth spot by clocking 435.196 million (last week 427.665 million) Impressions. Sony SAB too remained at No. 10 with 373.240 million (last week 413.632 million) Impressions.

As per select data {HSM (U+R): NCCS All: Prime Time (1800 - 2330 hours): 2+ Individuals}, Zee TV’s spin-off show Kundali Bhagya grabbed the top spot with 12.669 million (last week 12.970 million). Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya stood at No. 2 by clocking 11.779 million (last week 10.235 million) Impressions. Star Bharat’s Nimki Mukhiya that stood at No. 3 clocked 10.407 million (last week 9.886 million) Impressions in Week 6, followed by the channel’s another popular show Kya Haal Mr Panchaal with 10.185 million (last week 9.246 million) Impressions. Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya grabbed 10.128 million (last week 11.727 million) Impressions.
Top channels in urban markets
Colors continued to lead the flock of Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) in the urban markets, garnering 426.504 million (last week 432.523 million) Impressions. Star Bharat stood at the second spot and has clocked 354.898 million (last week 334.877 million) Impressions. Zee TV continued at No.3 in the list of most-watched shows on Hindi GEC in urban markets, clocking 339.825 million (last week 334.775 million) Impressions. Star Plus stayed at No. 4 in the urban markets with 319.694 million (last week 314.612 million) Impressions. At No. 5, Sony Entertainment Television with 314.996 million (last week 309.645 million) Impressions, followed by Sony SAB garnered 281.180 million (last week 312.064 million) Impressions. Sony Pal was at No. 7 with 209.696 million (last week 208.491 million) Impressions. Zee Anmol came in next at No. 8 with 176.092 million (last week 178.595 million) Impressions. Star Utsav stayed at No. 9 garnering 161.573 million (last week 158.755 million) Impressions. Rishtey has remained in the top channels’ list at No. 10 by clocking 131.283 million (last week 134.021 million) Impressions.

Sony Sab’s flagship show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma was second on the list clocking 6.388 million (last week 6.689 million) Impressions, followed by Colors’ Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki that garnered 5.988 million (last week 6.531 million) Impressions, at No. 3. Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya became the fourth most-watched show in urban markets with 5.935 million (last week 6.981 million) Impressions. Colors’s another fiction Ishq Mein Marjawan got 5.934 million (last week 5.769 million) Impressions.

Zee Anmol held on to the top spot with 591.613 million (last week 582.697 million) Impressions. Sony Pal was at No. 2 in rural markets garnering 429.549 million (last week 405.910 million) Impressions. Star Bharat continued to be at No. 4 spot in the rural markets recording 374.638 million (last week 341.018 million) Impressions. Rishtey too retained its No. 5 position with 317.394 million (last week 316.403 million) Impressions. Dangal stayed put at No. 6 by clocking 252.794 million (last week 244.628 million) Impressions. Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya became the most watched show in the rural market grabbing 9.766 million (last week 8.381 million) Impressions. Next two spots were grabbed by Sony Pal’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and CID with 6.469 million (last week 5.642 million) Impressions and 6.464 million (last week 5.813 million) Impressions, respectively. Zee Anmol’s Ganga and Jamai Raja grabbed fourth and fifth spots with 6.419 million Impressions and 5.921 million (last week 5.959 million) Impressions, respectively.
