Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has won the consolidated digital mandate for the FMCG giant ITC. Estimated to be in the range of Rs 60 crore, the mandate includes search engine, social media, digital creatives and all other verticals. The mandate will also include the CRM part of ITC’s business.
Highly placed sources confirmed the development with BestMediaInfo.com. However, both DAN and ITC officials refrained from commenting. “DAN in its joint presentation for the account had proposed to set up a specialised unit to service the business,” informed sources.
Along with DAN, GroupM, IPG Mediabrands and OMD were in the final round of the pitch that was held in Bangalore.
Earlier this year, Maxus (now a part of Wavemaker) had won ITC's media account from Madison World. The digital account of the company was earlier split between Madison World and GroupM.
ITC is one of the few companies that are consolidating digital duties with a single agency network. Auto giant Maruti and FMCG company Godrej had earlier consolidated their digital mandate.
