Indigo 91.9 launches string of new shows

Indigo 91.9 FM, an international radio station operating in Bangalore and Goa, has announced the launch of a new line-up of shows that includes a karaoke show, evening show, fitness hour and a show on global showbiz – offering content from across domains.

All these shows will be hosted by domain experts – a professional singer will host the karaoke show, a stand-up comedian will host the evening show, fitness experts will take on the air waves in the morning, and RJ Ryan Seacrest will host a show on global showbiz. For the first time on radio, stand-up comedians will host the evening drive time show. Sundeep Rao will bring humour on air on The Drive with Sundeep Rao from 5 pm.

Kenishaa Francis

In the afternoons, Kenishaa Francis, the finalist from the talent show The Stage, will host Keepin’ up with Kenishaa, a first sing-along show on radio. Francis will engage and interact with the listeners, bringing her singing talent to the fore and exploring the singing capabilities of listeners, giving them an opportunity and a platform to showcase their talents.

Ryan Seacrest

The new show, ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ every day from 12 pm, will have Ryan as host who is the quintessential Hollywood insider who always manages to have the biggest scoops and the most sought-after access to top events and celebrities.

Hari Nair

On Saturdays, the radio station has launched a travel show called The Travel Bug. Presented by Indigo 91.9 and Holiday IQ, the show is hosted by Hari Nair, CEO of Holiday IQ and RJ Evita, Travel Bug takes listeners on a trip to exotic places, providing them with travel tips while XPloring some of the best locales. Nair shares his deep travel knowledge with listeners, ensuring their next vacation will be their best one yet.

The next show titled ‘The Address’, airing every Wednesday, looks at the real estate space. For those listeners seeking a platform to get all their answers for their home-buying needs, RJ Evita and real estate/ home decor experts discuss industry trends and most importantly demystify the real estate world.

The other new weekly shows on Indigo 91.9 FM include Offsite with I919. Back with its new chapter, Offsite with I919 features RJs Nathan and Evita hosting the city's top corporate honchos over a casual banter, deep diving into their lives, bringing out the lighter side and showcasing their hidden talents.

The Fitness Hour featuring fitness trainer Gaurav Singh and nutritionist Ryan Fernando will continue to keep Bangaloreans healthy. The Morning Show will now feature RJ Nathan and RJ Evita taking the Fun Young listeners through the best of Bangalore. The late evening show Pillow Talk, hosted by RJ Ayesha Barretto at 9pm, will treat listeners to tales of love and romance and a chance to relive fond memories.
