Mastercard, a payments and technology company, has announced the appointment of Manasi Narasimhan as the Vice-President, Marketing and Communications.
In her new role, Narasimhan will be responsible for driving Mastercard’s marketing and communications strategy for South Asia region. She will work closely with key regional and global teams to deliver core business values and brand equity for Mastercard. She will also oversee the development of strategies and campaigns for Mastercard’s advertising, sponsorships, promotions, as well as digital and consumer marketing initiatives across South Asia.
With her career spanning across 16 years, Narasimhan has worked across sectors like consumer goods companies, media and overall corporate marketing. Passionate about delivering results and developing impactful campaigns, Narasimhan has specific interest in marketing, including media partnerships, content creation and cross media experiential activation.

Narasimhan joins from Godrej Industries where she served as the Vice-President, Strategic Marketing Group for over four years. During her stint there, she was part of leading marketing initiatives by Godrej, including the ad campaign with Aamir Khan. She was also part of the Masterbrand campaign that emphasised the use of mobile and received global applauses including the Emvies award.
A post-graduate in marketing from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Narasimhan lives in Mumbai with her husband and two kids.
