In Week 45 of 2017 (November 4-10) of BARC India data, Star Bharat became the most watched channel in the combined markets U+R. This win was clearly on the back of its comedy show Kya Haal Mr Panchal, which is listed as the fourth most watched show in the same market.
Colors continued to rule the urban flock, while rural was led by Zee Anmol. T20 bilateral series between India and New Zealand telecast on DD National performed very well, especially in the rural markets.

As per select BARC India data for Week 45 of 2017 (November 4-10) for HSM (U+R): NCCS All: 2+ Individuals, Star Bharat grabbed the top position with 687.238 million (last week 698.635 million) Impressions. Zee Anmol rose to No. 2 with 687.192 million (last week 676.733 million) Impressions. Zee TV came at third spot garnering 681.138 million (last week 741.062 million) Impressions. Colors grew to grab the No. 4 position with 612.853 million (last week 582.344 million) Impressions. Sony Pal dropped to fifth spot with 594.061 million (last week 593.863 million) Impressions. Star Plus stayed put at No. 6 with 527.648 million (last week 517.871 million) Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television too retained No. 7 position with gross viewership of 430.493 million (last week 462.257 million) Impressions. Star Utsav at No. 8 this week garnered 392.455 million (last week 373.404 million) Impressions. Rishtey rose to No. 9 with 382.655 million (last week 370.051 million) Impressions. Sony SAB slipped to No. 10 with 377.236 million (last week 379.771 million) Impressions.

As per select data {HSM (U+R): NCCS All: Prime Time (1800 - 2330 hours): 2+ Individuals}, one of the matches between India and New Zealand from the bilateral T20 series telecast on DD National topped the most watched shows’ list with 15.581 million Impressions. Zee TV’s spin-off show Kundali Bhagya and its original fiction Kumkum Bhagya stood at No. 2 and 3 spots with 11.509 million and 10.569 million Impressions, respectively. Star Bharat’s Kya Haal Mr Panchal was at No. 4 with 9.061 million Impressions. Another T20 between India and New Zealand on DD National grabbed the last spot garnering 9.020 million Impressions.

Colors stood up to continue to lead the flock of Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) in the urban markets, garnering 432.885 million Impressions. Zee TV was ranked as the second most watched Hindi GEC in the urban markets clocking 404.864 million Impressions. Star Plus grew to grab the third spot in the urban markets with 363.096 million Impressions. Sony Entertainment Television slipped to fourth spot with 313.731 million Impressions. Star Bharat was at No. 5 with 311.679 million Impressions. Sony Sab at No. 6 garnered 286.346 million Impressions. Sony Pal was at No. 7 with 188.887 million Impressions. Zee Anmol came in next at No. 8 with 150.551 million Impressions. &TV slipped to No. 9 garnering 143.516 million Impressions. Rishtey continued at No. 10 with 104.504 million Impressions.

Sony Sab’s flagship property Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah stood second with 6.221 million Impressions. Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya became the third most watched show in the urban markets with 6.219 million Impressions. Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein were at Nos. 4 and 5 with 6.030 million and 5.673 million Impressions, respectively.

Zee Anmol held on to the top spot with 536.641 million Impressions. Sony Pal stayed at its No. 2 position garnering 405.174 million Impressions. Star Bharat stayed at No. 3 spot in the rural markets recording 375.558 million Impressions. Star Utsav grew to be ranked at No. 4 in rural markets garnering 301.436 million Impressions. Rishtey slipped by a spot to be at No. 5 with 278.150 million Impressions. Zee TV slipped to No. 6 with 276.274 million Impressions. Surprisingly, Dangal TV entered the list at No. 7 with 207.233 million Impressions. Colors came up at No. 8 with 179.967 million Impressions. Big Magic followed at No. 9 with 174.154 million Impressions. Star Plus continued to be at No. 10 garnering 164.551 million Impressions.

One of the matches between India and New Zealand from the bilateral T20 series telecast on DD National topped the most watched shows’ list with 12.279 million Impressions.
Sony Pal’s Baalveer stood next at No. 2 with 6.400 million Impressions. Another T20 between India and New Zealand on DD National grabbed the third spot garnering 6.348 million Impressions.
