Sunil Kataria, Business Head, India and SAARC, for the Godrej Consumer Products and current Chairman, Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA), will be the leader of the Indian delegation to the AdAsia 2017.
On this occasion, Kataria said that India is striving to get a 100+ delegation to Bali where the 30th edition of AdAsia is scheduled to take place between November 8 and 10, 2017.
The Indonesian Advertising Community has put together an excellent programme with renowned speakers from across the world. The evenings are also planned to give the delegates a unique experience of Bali. One evening will be hosted by Pakistan Advertising Association to showcase the kind of hospitality the delegates can expect during AdAsia 2019 in Lahore.
Asian Federation of Advertising Federation, which organizes AdAsia every alternate year, has as its member, Advertising Council of India (ACI).
The Advertising Club, a member of ACI, has been responsible for organizing a delegation to AdAsia for some years now.
Announcing this Srinivasan Swamy, Chairman & Managing Director, R K Swamy BBDO and Vice Chairman, Asian Federation of Advertising Associations (AFAA), said, “I am delighted that the Advertising Council of India (ACI) has nominated Sunil to lead the Indian delegation. It is very important that the advertisers are represented adequately at an important forum like the AdAsia and Sunil has assured me that there will be a good number of advertisers in the delegation.”
Pradeep Guha of the ACI, said, “The Advertising Council of India has as its members all the leading industry-specific bodies that represent advertisers, media and advertising agencies and we select the leader of the delegation on a rotational basis so that every arm of our industry gets an opportunity to lead our delegation. Sunil will be representing not just the advertisers but the entire communications industry at this premier communications Congress."
Kataria added, “The AdAsia is considered the most important conference for the communications industry in Asia. This year it will be addressed by a formidable line-up of speakers including Kofi Annan, Former UN Secretary General and Nobel Prize recipient, David Coulthard, FI Grand Prix winner, Guy Kawasaki, bestselling author and expert motivational speaker and Martin Lindstrom, Branding expert and best-selling author, to name a few.”
