Big FM has bolstered its top leadership team by elevating Praveen Malhotra as Chief Business Officer. Malhotra, who has been associated with Big FM since inception as its Chief Revenue Officer, will be responsible for all sales, marketing, planning and service functions. Her main focus will be to provide top-tier service and increased productivity across the organisation as well as continue to build the brand Big FM.

With over 23 years of extensive experience across television, radio, digital and new media, Malhotra will be accountable on functions related to revenue, revenue assurance, solutions, brand marketing, customer marketing, client servicing and innovation. She has been the founding team member at Big FM as its first sales head and had worked across functions, including learning and development. An entrepreneurial professional at heart, she has set up infrastructure, technology and brand architecture, organisational structures, which have held the organisation in good stead. Her keen interest and deep knowledge of Hindi film music helps her understand the business.
Malhotra obtained her post-graduation degree in marketing and HRD from Times School of Marketing and XLRI Jamshedpur. She was a part of Global Leadership Program, Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, which ranks among the top business schools in the world. Known for her commendable skills, she has been a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Nehru Scholarship by the United States India Education Foundation and nominated for News Corp’s Global Excellence Awards in 2004.
