Kamlesh Kumar Sharma first Chief Communications Officer of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) has announced the appointment of Kamlesh Kumar Sharma as its first Chief Communications Officer. He will lead the corporate reputation and brand building exercise for HCCB, leveraging diverse media platforms – paid, owned, earned and shared. He will be based in Bengaluru and report to Christina Ruggiero, CEO, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages.

Sharma is erstwhile Director, Corporate Communications and Alliances, Coca-Cola India. Sharma has spent 11 out of his 20 years of experience at Coca-Cola India.

Sharma has over 20 years of work experience handling a variety of roles like brand PR, category communication, social and digital communications, media relations and sustainability marketing.

Prior to working with Coca-Cola India, Sharma has worked at Bharti Airtel and at Rediffusion Y&R for five years. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specialising in marketing.

HCCB is one of India’s largest FMCG manufacturing and distribution companies. The company owns and operates 19 factories. It also sources products from 11 contract packing plants. A network of 5,000 distributors and over two million retail outlets, distribute the high quality, great tasting beverages manufactured by Hindustan Coca-Cola.
